SMS vs Email Communication

Over the years, we've found that email was once the go-to for most communication, but it used to be more reliable. Email often gets on the back burner for people like students and guardians who are not glued to a desk job. It needs to be consistently checked, and let's remember important messages sometimes get trapped in spam filters.

Also, we've noticed that emails can sit unread for weeks. This delay can make our communication ineffective when sharing time-sensitive updates.

Example: over the past few years, we noticed Program Directors sending text messages reminding students and guardians to "check your inbox for an important message." This was a pattern of communication we wanted to avoid. 🙂

That's why we've decided to use a 'mobile-first' approach. With CutTime Next Gen, we focus more on text messages, which most folks check frequently. This way, you get our updates quickly and reliably.
