Error under Email and/or Cell Phone - "is a duplicate for this import"

Everyone in CutTime is required to have unique contact info. If that contact info is associated with a shared guardian or a shared "family email," we recommend importing those students without that shared contact info, and then creating or importing a guardian with that info so they can see both members in the same place.

Keep in mind that students are not required to have any contact info at all.


CutTime Classic Migration Specific -

Q: My export doesn't include birthdates for my students, how do I get that data to put into Next Gen?

A: Due to the data structure in Classic, there's not a good way to export that data along with the other fields needed. Birthdates are not a required field in Next Gen, so you are able to upload student data without that field.
