Online Payments

Offering an online payment option to your students and guardians so they can pay their fees online is essential to providing them with the best quick and secure payment solution. We recognize the need for accepting online payments from guardians on the behalf of a student and for program members to be able to pay their fees online for themselves. Currently, we work with Stripe and Vanco as our merchants. This article is focused on integrating with Stripe!

Stripe Connect accounts are set up entirely within CutTime and does not require any external account information from Stripe.com!

To integrate Stripe as your payment processor:

  1. Navigate to your Program Settings page, click "Configure Payments" in the Online Payments section, and select "Stripe," "Submit," and "Create your Stripe Account." You will be taken to our Stripe Portal inside of CutTime to get set up.
  2. Enter the mobile number and email of the person who is representing this program for Stripe. You can use an email associated with an existing Stripe account, as this Stripe account is separate from an account made at Stripe.com. You will immediately be asked to verify the account with a verification code that is texted to the number you provided. If you leave and come back to resume this process, that verification process will be repeated.
  3. Follow the prompts and provide the information that Stripe needs to set up your new account. Clicking "Save for later" will save your work and take you back to your Program Settings page in CutTime.

If you need to go back and correct any information you've entered, continue adding as much information as you can, and the last screen is a review where you can go back and edit any information you've entered.

Even after Submitting, you can go change your information at any time.

  1. Once you are satisfied with the information you've added, click "Agree and submit" on the final review screen. Once submitted, Stripe may take a few business days to review and enable your online payment integration.

Stripe automatically sets up a rolling daily deposit. Payments typically take 2 business days to deposit into the bank account that you connect to Stripe.

**NOTE: This function only requires the steps noted here and in your program settings in CutTime, and does not require you to go to Stripe.com to set up an account there.
